Once upon a time, there was a wicked queen who lived in a castle deep in the woods. The queen had looked into her future, and there she saw that one day, three heroes would smite her down with a blade made of her own heart. She rose in defiance of her story, and tried fight it, but time and time again, her actions only furthered the tale. Now, with the three heroes she helped to create facing her in her own throne room, the wicked queen now must erase them from their tale and keep herself the true hero of the story by setting them against her righteous, primal magic and the shadows of their own past. The final duel between the Green Lady and the Kingmakers is at hand... and when this book ends, will it have a happy ending? Or will the wicked queen win, teaching the world the true meaning of a cautionary tale?
